Peosta
A.J. Spiegel Park
Peosta, Home of the Cubs. A.J. Spiegel Park was built in 2008 and is home of the Peosta simi pro Cubs, and the Key West simi pro Ramblers and also the Clarke College Baseball team.
The Town
The Town Of Peosta has a population of 1,187 people. There is an elemantary school in the town, then the kids go to Drexler Middle School in Farley, then Western Dubuque High School in Epworth. The town has its own police department and fire department.
The Specators take
A.J. Spegial park is good for the fans becuase the it has nice restrooms and cossesion stand and the seats were purchased from the Iowa Cubs. The only down side is that when there is a night game for the visting team the sun shines right in to there dugout as it goes down.
The Field
The field at A.J. Spiegel Park has the dimensions of 310 feet to Left, 412 feet to Center, and 330 feet to Right. The field has a grass infield and a lot of room in foul territory especially behind the plate. The dugout are like major league dugouts with steps and benches underground making it easier for the spectators to see.
